Change and Apply Board Settings.

If you have got some knowledge about the board settings, let’s change the settings on the assumption that the Q&A board has already been created. If you need a detailed description of the board settings, please refer to ‘Create My Board (default settings)’ in My Apps for the default settings, and refer to ‘Board Settings (Advanced, Capabilities, Fields Settings)’ in My Apps for the advanced, capabilities, fields settings.   

STEP 1. Go to ‘My Apps’ in Manage Mode, and click Board app.

STEP 2. Click on the setting button of the Q&A board to go to its setting window.

STEP 3. The Q&A board setting window will appear. In general settings, edit the number of posts to 3, and click ‘Advanced’

STEP 4. Based on the default Advanced setting values, disable Upvotes/Downvotes feature and enable SNS sharing feature. If the Advanced setting is done, click Capabilities.

STEP 5. In the Capabilities Settings, select Signed-in users for Write Posts and Write Comments, and select administrator only for Write Replies. And click Fields.

STEP 6. Click ‘Mandatory’ check box of Email and finally click Save to finish the Q&A board settings. (This setting is for the visitor to enter the Email address as mandatory when registering posts on the board.)    

(TIP)

* When setting the board field settings, if a certain item’s check box is disabled in the Fields, check whether the item is also disabled in the Advanced setting. 

* The Mandatory and Display values of Author, Title, and Content are required for visitors to display and enter as mandatory, so these cannot be selected. Also, the Read and List Page values of Title and Content should be displayed as mandatory, so those check boxes are disabled.   

STEP 7. The final screen is shown below. Please check the edited values on the website.
