Settings for Membership Registration
In Dubuplus, you can setup the membership conditions for users who join your website. Membership preferences allow you to get more information about visitors by increasing the items that they should enter, but too many items can make it difficult to sign up. Therefore, it is recommended to set only the necessary information so that it matches the nature of your website. In this chapter, we will learn about each of membership registration setting functions.
STEP 1. In order to setup the membership preferences, go to the membership preferences field in Manage Mode>Membership management.
STEP 2. Setup the registration method and items according to the characteristics of the website and the administrator's tastes, and click Save to complete.
Criteria | Details |
General Settings | General and necessary settings required for membership registration. |
Registration Type | Approval: If this option is set to Admin Approval, the administrator has to approve pending members in Member List >Pending Members page. |
Non-approval: Become a member as soon as a visitor completes membership registration. | |
Anti-auto registration | If this option is set to use, a captcha field will be posted in the registration form. |
General Item Settings | Based on the general settings, setup the necessary items for membershp registration. |
Use | It is the items on registration form, but not required to fill in. |
Required | Must be filled in to register. |
Item Name | Original name of membership registration form. If Display name is blank, it will be exposed as the Item name. |
Display name | If you fill in the title of Display name, the title will be exposed as Display name, not as Item name when visitors register. |
(TIP) In terms of the skin settings (background design) of the membership registration page, you can set in the default page of the page area in Design Mode.
