★ You can design banners and others using text element and the image element.
The text element is provided as titles and paragraphs.
The two elements will be applied in the same but it is better to apply them separately because of the structure of the web.
STEP01. Creating a title using text element
① Click [Design mode]
② Click [Title] element, and drag it to the area to be exposed
③ Click [Edit setting] in [Title] element, and turn on [Change font size]
(TIP) The font size refers to the size of the text displayed on the website.
④ Double-click the text area and then enter text.
⑤ Set the style and font.
(TIP)
- Style: By setting styles, blind people can understand the structure and importance of sentences when using screen readers.
- Size em: It decreases or increases to a multiple of the number based on the font size.
STEP02. Creating images using image element
① Click [Image] element, and drag it to the area to be exposed.
② Click [Edit settings] in [Image] element, and click [Insert image]
③ Click [Add new image] to upload a image.
(TIP) You can also select an existing registered image using [Add image from list]
④ After adding the image, enter [Image Description]
(TIP) What is Alternative text?
Alternative text is related to web accessibility. The purpose of web accessibility is to recognize all content on the website, regardless of whether they are blind or not. So non-texture images or other content should be provided with alternative text to help all people understand its meaning and purpose.
If the image has no alternative text on mouseover, the blind reader only tells ‘image’.
